Shipping Policy

At Starborn Atelier, every piece is made to order, hand-finished, and thoughtfully packaged with care. Below is everything you need to know about how your order gets from our studio to your doorstep.

Processing Time

Because each piece is handmade, please allow 5–10 business days for your order to be crafted before it ships. This processing window may vary slightly during high-volume periods (like launches or holidays), but we’ll always do our best to communicate any delays.

If your order includes multiple items, they may ship together once all pieces are complete.

Domestic Shipping (U.S. Orders)

We currently ship within the United States via USPS or UPS, depending on the weight and destination of your order. Once your package has shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

Estimated Transit Times:

  • USPS First Class: 2–6 business days
  • USPS Priority Mail: 1–3 business days
  • UPS Ground: 2–5 business days

These are estimates and not guaranteed delivery timelines.

International Shipping

We’re proud to ship worldwide! International orders are typically sent via USPS International or UPS International. Delivery timeframes vary by destination and customs processing times.

International customers are responsible for:

  • Customs duties and import taxes
  • VAT or other region-specific charges
  • Any delays caused by customs inspections

Please note that once a package leaves our studio, international transit times can be unpredictable. Customs may hold packages for inspection, which is outside our control.

Shipping Restrictions: Tariffs, Sanctions & Local Regulations

While we love that our jewelry finds homes around the world, we are unable to ship to certain countries or regions due to international trade restrictions, tariffs, and sanctions.

We cannot ship to:

  • Countries under active U.S. embargoes or sanctions
  • Locations where high import tariffs or local regulations prevent delivery of handmade jewelry or precious metals

If we receive an order from a restricted region, we will notify you as soon as possible and issue a full refund. We do not assume responsibility for lost packages or confiscated items due to shipping to restricted areas. It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify their country’s import laws before placing an order.

Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked as “delivered” by the carrier, it is considered the customer’s responsibility. We are not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or delayed in transit. However, we are happy to help you file a claim with the shipping carrier if needed.

If your order has been in transit for longer than 10 business days (domestic) or 30 days (international), please contact us so we can assist.

Address Issues

Please double-check your shipping information at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect or outdated addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, we can reship it at the buyer’s expense.

Order Tracking & Support

Tracking information will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. If you haven’t received tracking within 10 business days of your purchase, feel free to reach out at sam@thesammf.co.
